Lots of new this month, so settle down for a good read!
I am delighted to announce class placements for the academic year 2016-2017:
The school’s Board of Governors has a vacancy for a co-opted governor. We are particularly seeking someone with expertise in accountancy and finance.
Governors are volunteers who give their time freely for the benefit of the school community. If you are a pro-active individual and you are passionate about supporting the school to give the best possible opportunities to our young people, then we are keen to hear from you.
Riverside Suumer Fair is coming soon - mark it in your diary!!
Please read the note below as there are some road closures and access arrangements to bear in mind on Friday 29th April, when the Tour De Yorkshire goes past our site:
Martin House is a superb local resource which provides care and support for families of children with life threatening illness as well as end of life care. We have supported Martin House on many occasions over the years and of course, several of our families have directly benefited from their excellent support.
Mrs Needham is running the London Marathon on 24th April and is being sponsored for Martin House.
If you would like to sponsor her, please visit:
Good luck Mrs Needham!
