Deputy Headteacher -Riverside School
Are you ready for a Senior Leadership post in a highly inclusive school with an excellent local reputation?

Do you aspire to progress towards or wish to develop experience towards being a Headteacher in Primary Education?
We are looking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner with significant experience of teaching throughout the primary phase, to join our teaching team as an excellent classroom teacher as well as our Senior Leadership Team with initial responsibilities to include Curriculum Development and PSHE Leader from January 2022. We will provide you with support and CPD with, initially, 3 days of dedicated leadership time, in addition to PPA.
As our Curriculum Development leader in the first instance, you would have a whole school role to develop, review and monitor our curriculum offer so that every child can access a broad programme that has relevant and aspirational knowledge and understanding embedded within. You will be supporting subject and middle leaders as well as our highly skilled Teaching Assistant teams.
As our PSHE strategic lead you will convene and be accountable for the rich social, moral, spiritual and cultural threads of work which Riverside school is very proud of through its school council, curriculum offer and high impact school ethos.
This is an ideal opportunity for those with ambitions to progress towards a Headship. This role will give you a unique opportunity to inspire the learning and development of a large number of pupils, in a large, busy and successful primary school.
