Friends of Riverside are a group of parents and teachers who raise money to support key school projects, and provide fun events for the children out of School hours. We are a charitable organisation (our constitution can be found below)
We put on a number of activities during the school year such as Discos, Presents for Parents, Christmas fair, quiz nights, community bonfire night, sponsored walk, summer fair. Riverside Friends of School proud to donate £125 to support the work of the Tadcaster Flood Support and Fundraising Group.
The Flood Support & Fundraising group would like to say a huge thank you to Riverside School for their very kind donation of £125. This money will pay for one of our monthly social groups, where we offer support and advice for those affected most by the floods. The money provides a hot meal and drinks for those who come along and the opportunity for those who are still not back in their properties to catch up with friends and neighbours.
We are overwhelmed by the support from the community so once again thank you for choosing to donate funds to our group.

Our 2016 Summer Fair was bigger than ever before, made possible by the hard work of our Friends along with generous sponsorship from many local businesses.
Here are just a few photos from our wonderful, fun-filled afternoon:
